The mission of SCORE Fort Worth is to provide free business mentoring and coaching to existing and emerging businesses in Fort Worth and other North Texas cities.

SCORE proudly celebrates 60 years of helping America's small businesses launch, grow and thrive. Since 1964, more than 17 million entrepreneurs have received support from SCORE, a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Today, SCORE has a nationwide network of more than 10,000 volunteers serving all 50 U.S. states and territories, guiding entrepreneurs on their path to success.
Fort Worth Clothing Collective was established in 2022 by Haley Ballenger and Kelly Warner. They launched their organization with a clear vision but little experience in corporate operations. In spite of that they managed to hold successful pop-up events to distribute clothing before coming to SCORE. While Haley's initial request said "Brand new non-profit start-up. I need help with ... everything!" they really didn't. SCORE mentors assisted them with budgeting and marketing early on. They then went on to partner with numerous organizations for pop-up events and recently opened a permanent location at the Westside Presbyterian Church.
FWCC collects and distributes clothing at no cost to those in need. They initially focused on children's clothing and have since expanded to distribute adult and adolescent apparel as well as shoes and accessories. Since opening they have distributed over 10,000 pounds of clothing to people in need. Much of that clothing would have ended up in our land fill had they not recycled it.
An excellent event! Thanks to all who came to support the small business awardees! We are thrilled to share the highlights from the SBA Awards Luncheon, where we celebrated the incredible achievements of our small business community. This event was a testament to the dedication, hard work, and innovation that our awardees have demonstrated.
